After Hilda and Diane de Grand Lieu, the full-colour Kovacq album Beautés dociles (Docile Beauties), published a year after Bernard Dufossé’s death, is rather a disappointment. It is really just a compilation of the titillating full-colour cover illustrations from his more experimental work, and the introduction – which though ostensibly by him is almost certainly not – excuses the ‘pin-ups’ as ‘what pleases all his readers’.
We leave you to decide.
Beautés dociles was published by International Press Magazine.
