Here are a selection of Dobkowski paintings from his large output, not including the well-known ‘red and green’ works which we show in a separate portfolio.

Starting with the 1971 works Lekkie Emocje (Light Emotions) and Prześwietlona Wenus (Overexposed Venus), we see the colourful block-colour works transform in the early 1980s into a style characterised by coloured lines used in a ‘streakalistic’ way to continue exploring the curves of human forms.

The last two paintings shown here are his 1990 Żyj! (Live!), and a canvas from the extensive Z Cyklu Uniwersum (Cycle of the Universe) series.
