Raised in Toulouse in the far south of France by artist parents, Cyril Gabriel Georget began drawing and painting at the age of fifteen, though it would be another thirty years before he felt able to become a full-time artist. For many years he enjoyed a career as a freelance language teacher and translator, which allowed him to travel and live in more than ten cities throughout Europe and Asia.
Throughout this period Georget continued to create artwork as a hobby. In 2004 he moved to Bulgaria, a country he loves, and became a true artist, selling his first painting at the age of forty. In 2010 Georget exhibited his work at the Thom Simmons Times Square Gallery in New York, and has since participated in many exhibitions.
Now based in Budapest, a city whose light he particularly likes, Cyril Georget exhibits more and more throughout the world, especially the USA where his popularity continues to rise. His favourite subject is the representation of male nudity, often inspired by classical postures and the great masters, as well as in dreamlike or frankly erotic moments.
