His work has a lot in common with Robert Crumb; as he explains, ‘I’ve always related to ineffectual geek types who grow cynical and decide to destroy the world. I really love Charles Burns, Mark Beyer, Chris Ware, Kaz – they all have this dark, fatalistic, hilariously funny view of the world.’
