Libido is the title of an exhibition of Alain Bonnand’s work held in 1995, and we have borrowed it to cover a chronological overview of his monochrome work after the publication of Vous avez dit bizarre. Thus the first twenty of these images come from the 1995 exhibition, and the remainder follow his work through to the end of the 1990s, with just a few more recent images, though he has now moved almost exclusively to more figurative colour canvases.
