Ein treue Diener (A Faithful Servant) was self-published by Lossow in a very small edition, using his French pseudonym Gaston Ferran, and is very rare, most copies having been broken up or conveniently lost. In a series of eight explicit engravings, a naked mature matron tires of reading her book and summons her valet, who obediently follows her instructions, both clearly enjoying the encounter.

One purchaser clearly felt that the etchings needed embellishment, hence the very pink version of the third engraving in the set shown here.
