Im Garten der Aphrodite (In Aphrodite’s Garden), a portfolio of eighteen von Bayros etchings, was published at much the same time as Bilder aus dem Boudoir der Madame CC, and shares nine of the same images. The nine images shown here are the ones not included in Madame CC. These nine do not have subtitles. Unlike Madame CC, which used the Choisy de Conin pseudonym, Im Garten der Aphrodite appeared with von Bayros’s real name, so maybe the two portfolios were deliberately created for audiences who knew the artist under different names.

As usual, Im Garten der Aphrodite was produced in a limited numbered edition of 350 copies.
