Babes: A Collection of Naughty Girls is a limited edition laser-printed stapled booklet of Natalie Krim’s early work, which was published in an edition of a hundred signed copies by PaperWork NYC.

The style is very much that of a graduate in fashion design, a set of colourful neatly-drawn images. The content, however, demonstrates clearly Krim’s interest in the transgressive aspect of women’s clothes, with suggestive sexual references. The combination of titillation and guns raises many of the questions about American culture the artist has gone on to explore in her more political work, which can regularly be seen on her Instagram account.
