‘B(r)east’ is the title of Nikki Peck’s MFA thesis exhibition, which was shown at Macaulay & Co. Fine Art in Vancouver. The double-entendre of the title recognises that in our warped sexual culture, in which breasts and nipples are both fetishised and censored, these beautiful and sensual women’s body parts hold a weird and wonderful power.

In these drawings she has created a series of illustrations celebrating the forms of the female body, multiplying them into designs which could easily be used for wallpaper or fabric.
