During the late 1920s and early 30s Marcus Behmer occupied himself intensively with the ancient classics, and in 1931 published his Divertimenti (Pleasures), based on ancient mirror images, as a portfolio with six prints. Produced in an edition of just eight copies, Divertimenti is one of the rarest portfolios of homoerotic art.
