Peintures hors série (Unconnected Paintings) is a small non-series started in 2020, in the midst of a difficult period of confinement, mourning, rupture and depression. As Jannin explains, ‘I had no specific direction at the time, except the desire to express the evil, the pain I was feeling, and to go further than I had ever been in my art. I wanted my art to hurt, to make the viewer uncomfortable.’

     Le monde à l’enfer (The World in Hell)
     Salade composée (Mixed Salad)
