Prévot uses all the tropes of homoerotic art from the 1920s and 30s to produce his own portfolio of explicit images. His particular gift is the ability to incorporate what might otherwise be overly extreme and blatant sexuality into more subtle period encounters, with recurring elements including roses (clear similarities with bunches of penis glans) and shadows of acts of fellatio. An ingenious and inventive artist, Prévot harnesses the gay imagination with intelligent and witty imagery.
